Haoyue Wang (Interview transcript): Why do you want to provide free education courses?
Yulin Shen: I do not claim particularly lofty ideals; my own educational journey simply took many twists and turns. That taught me how important study methods are. By offering free courses, I hope to help other students avoid the same detours and learn more efficiently and effectively. Although I faced many difficulties and setbacks in my studies, I did not give up. I kept exploring and experimenting to find ways of learning that suited me. Along the way, I gained experience and practical techniques, and achieved some results. I want to share that experience and those techniques with others. As someone who has gone ahead, I have a responsibility to help students who have yet to reach their goals. I believe my help can enable them to develop effective study methods sooner and adapt better to academic life. That is why I began offering free courses, and what continues to motivate me.

Haoyue Wang (Interview transcript): How do you arrange educational support activities outside of your daily work?
Yulin Shen: I have always believed that we should pursue our own achievements while also contributing more to society. However many roles I hold or however busy work becomes, I keep that belief in mind and do what I can to fulfil it. Even after a busy day, I use my evenings to teach students who need help and record lessons. Giving in this way brings me a sense of fulfilment and satisfaction. I believe that if each of us contributes to society, the world will become a better place.
Haoyue Wang (Interview transcript): How do you maintain your enthusiasm for participation?
Yulin Shen: I love my work and the career I have chosen, and that brings me real happiness and fulfilment. Many people have supported and helped me along the way, so I always remember to give back as much as I can, just as the pioneers who once helped me did. I believe that with enthusiasm and motivation, I can overcome difficulties, keep moving forward and contribute to society to the best of my ability.
